PrimeSource Mortgage, Inc. (PSMI) held its annual conference on February 5-7 at the beautiful Embassy Suites, located on Lomas & I-25 in Albuquerque, NM. The conference was a complete success.

PrimeSource Mortgage, Inc. (PSMI) held its annual conference on February 5-7 at the beautiful Embassy Suites, located on Lomas & I-25 in Albuquerque, NM. The conference was a complete success. There was significant training that took place along with exciting activities, including incredible life-changing speakers, and a formal awards banquet on Friday evening. The theme for the conference was “Shoot for the Stars”. Over 100 participants attended the 17th annual conference in Albuquerque. A realtor trac was included to the packed full agenda this year. The agenda allowed for the various branch owners to invite their referral partners in the real estate industry to attend specific break-out sessions relative to their industry. In addition, there were many other break-out sessions designed for the branch owners and staff of the 30 plus branch offices now operating across the nation. Bill Bates, NFL All-Pro and Super Bowl Champion, was the keynote speaker. Bill shared his amazing football career with the participants and how he overcame his personal obstacles to reach his dream on one basic image – a star…but not just any star. The star he was reaching for was none other than the one on the helmets of the Dallas Cowboys. In 1983, Bill fulfilled his life-long dream by making the Dallas Cowboys as a long shot free agent rookie. Bill’s life gave each participant a stepping stone to shoot for their own “personal” star! David Benham, co-founder of Benham Real Estate Group – a company specializing in REO disposition, preservation, management and sales, gave a remarkable account of his life as a professional baseball player with the Boston Red Sox. After realizing his desire to spend more time with his family, David left baseball and took a job as a high school janitor. After several months, David and his twin brother, Justin, who also played professional baseball with the Baltimore Orioles, earned their real estate license and started Benham Real Estate Group. David’s inspirational story taught everyone to have faith in all you do. To date, the Benham Real Estate Group has 65 offices across the United States and is presently the largest REO company in the United States. At the star studded awards ceremonies, branches were recognized for their outstanding performances in 2008. The winners were as follows: Matt Lamoreux of Farmington, NM, Branch of the year; Jeff Stillinger of Omaha, NE, Rookie of the Year and Kurt Gass of Roswell, NM, Most Production. The following branches were also awarded for Most Production following Roswell, NM; Farmington, NM; Dallas, TX-NWBO; Omaha, NE; Amarillo, TX and Tulsa, OK. The winners were awarded individual awards, which were presented by Bill Bates and Jeffrey Smith. There are many advantages to being a part of the PrimeSource network.
